Chef Jeff

A native of Nassau, Bahamas, Jeffrey Dean found his calling to cuisine as a teenager. Precious moments of time spent in the kitchen enjoying meals prepared by his grandmother, had a lasting effect on the impressionable young lad who was first inspired by her cooking prowess. Upon graduating from high school, he enrolled in the Culinary Programme of the nationally renowned University of The Bahamas and embraced his new career with passion and ambition. Upon graduation, he worked up the ranks to become the Executive Sous Chef of a popular local restaurant specializing in Bahamian and International cuisine.

After years of training and working as a chef in various restaurants in Nassau, including Compass Point Restaurant & Bar, Nikkei and Cilantro where he explored different cuisines, Jeffrey learned the art of building flavor which lies at the heart of creating an unforgettable dish and memorable dining experience. His finely tuned skills and multicultural cuisine experience for over a decade allows him to showcase distinctive flavors in mouth-watering presentation. The talented and personable chef incorporates the freshest ingredients to prepare uniquely refined dishes to please all palates in a creative manner that accommodates all dietary needs and requests.

His goal for culinary excellence with each meal is highly acknowledged and is indisputably one of the main tour highlights for many guests.
